Hubba Raises Series B Funding Round

hubbaHubba, a Toronto and NYC-based business network for retailers to discover and connect with brands, raised a Series B funding round of undisclosed amount.

Backers included Goldman Sachs Investment Partners and existing investors Real Ventures, Kensington Venture Fund and Brightspark Ventures.

The company will use the proceeds to develop new products and features as well as expand its geographic presence to other international regions.

Led by Ben Zifkin, founder and CEO, Hubba operates an online destination for brands to showcase their products to retail buyers, and for retail buyers to discover new brands. With a network of over 40,000 companies, the platform enables the discovery and management of niche products and brand relationships across eight categories including Food & Beverage, Pets, Personal Care & Beauty and Sports & Recreation, featuring a large set of influencers who partner with brands and retailers to promote their products to their follower base.

The Series B round follows an $11M Series A round closed in 2015.
