Founder Collective Closes Third Venture Capital Fund, at $75M

founder_collectiveFounder Collective, a Cambridge, MA-based venture capital firm, closed its third fund, at $75m.

Led by David Frankel, Micah Rosenbloom and Eric Paley, Founder Collective invests $200k to $2m at the seed stage of tech startups with the opportunistic option to reinvest in the Series A round of fast growing portfolio companies.

Current portfolio companies include Uber, HotelTonight, ThredUp, BuzzFeed, Optimizely, FormLabs, PillPack, Sudden Coffee, and SeatGeek, among many others. Exits include The Trade Desk, Cruise Automation, MakerBot, Periscope, Firebase, Blue Box, etc.

The firm, which recently opened an office in San Francisco, operates in the USA with some exceptions via investments in South Africa, U.K., Israel, and Korea.
