Exeger Sweden AB, a Swedish solar technology company, raised €5.2m in funding.
Fortum’s Technology and New Ventures made the investment in exchange for a 5% ownership in the company.
The company intends to use the funds to prepare for its first global product launch ramping up our production capacity in order to start accepting commercial orders in 2017.
Led by CEO Giovanni Fili, Exeger develops novel printable solar cells for use in consumer electronics, on buildings and in other applications.
