Litmus Automation, a San Jose, CA-based Internet of Things (IoT) platform provider, secured a US$1.5m seed funding round.
Private angels from the US and Canada participated in the round.
The company intends to use the funds to further grow the team and continue developing the platform based on client feedback and industry needs.
Led by Vatsal Shah, CEO/Co-founder, Litmus Automation provides Loop, a middleware cloud platform for the Internet of Things, which enables companies to connect any type of hardware, device, sensor or machine to the Internet and in real-time integrate the data being collected to any third-party software application or enterprise system (e.g. ERP, CRM, big data analytics, dashboards). It also contains an extensive device management suite for deploying and monitoring IoT systems.
The company also offers LoopEdge, which allows applications to be deployed on the edge, and provides an industrial driver marketplace which enables any gateway to interact with proprietary protocols from various vendors.
Litmus Automation has partnered with companies such as Intel, Salesforce, Kyra Solutions, HMS, Ingram Micro, Momenta Partners, and more.
