Kinesis Raises €590K in Funding

kinesisKinesis Health Technologies, a Dublin, EIRE-based developer of intelligent health diagnostic devices, raised €590k in seed funding.

Backers included private investors and Enterprise Ireland.

The company intends to use the funds to expand global sales.

Led by co-founder and CEO Seamus Small, CTO Barry Greene and co-founder Bill Bollengier, Kinesis provides intelligent health diagnostic devices. QTUG, its proprietary technology, uses body worn sensors combined with a standard clinical test to assess risk of falls, gait and mobility. QTUG can be used for population level screening of mobility and falls risk as well as ongoing objective assessment for use in rehabilitation.
