sixQ, a Boston, MA-based developer of an enterprise assessment platform, raised $1m in funding.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to accelerate sales, marketing and engineering efforts.
Led by Eric Anderson, President and co-founder, sixQ provides an assessment platform that asks and answers the six question-types (what, why, how, when, where and who) for several management frameworks including competencies, culture, engagement, a sales program, etc.
In addition to the funding, the company also announced the additions of Dave Swindell, who will join as Chief Technology Officer, and Larry Epstein, who’ll serve as Chief Operating Officer.
