Active Allocator, a NYC-based financial technology company, secured early stage equity financing.
Unnamed private investors participated in the funding. The round, whose amount was not disclosed, pre-money valued Active Allocator at $8.0m.
The company intends to use the funds to further product development, including to its forthcoming advanced portfolio construction module.
Co-Founded by Brian Jones and Sameer Jain, Active Allocator owns an asset allocation portal that integrates traditional, illiquid and alternative investments within portfolios for RIAs and broker-dealer’s financial advisors.
