Wine n Dine, a New York-based restaurant discovery app, raised $2.5M in funding.
The round was led by Melo7 Tech Partners, with participation from Jordache Ventures and The Chetrit Group.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the app features and expand operations.
Led by Adam Cooper, Wine n Dine is an iOS Instagram-style app that allows consumers to find restaurants and other places to eat. Users can follow peers in their area to see what they’re eating, and receive recommendation, click the “Wanna Try” button to save a meal in their inventory.
The app currently covers 70,000 restaurants in more than 6,000 cities.
