SafetyCulture Raises $23M in Series B Funding

SafetyCulture_LogoSafetyCulture, a provider of mobile-first technology that allows workers to manage safety and quality applications, raised $23m in Series B funding.

The round was led by Index Ventures, with participation from Blackbird Ventures and Atlassian Co-founder Scott Farquhar. In conjunction with the funding, Jan Hammer, Partner at Index Ventures, will join SafetyCulture’s board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its marketing, product development, and customer outreach efforts as well as to grow its engineering, product management, customer support and success, and marketing teams in San Francisco, Sydney and Manchester offices.

Luke Anear, CEO, SafetyCulture provides companies with the iAuditor app, a workplace inspection platform to create smart checklists, conduct on-site inspections, analyze data and share insights in real time.
To date, the company has enabled more than 30 million safety and quality inspections at companies such as Coca-Cola, Hilton and AECOM.
