PopChef, a Paris, France-based lunch delivery service, raised €2m in seed funding.
Backers included business angels Marc Simoncini, Jacques-Antoine Granjon, Xavier Niel, and Thibaud Elzière.
The company intends to use the funds to expand operations in across Paris.
Co-founded in 2015 by Briac Lescure and François Raynaud de Fitte, PopChef delivers handmade meals to customers within 30 minutes for up to €10. Meals currently include entrees, first plates such as Fish & Chips, pasta, risotto, and desserts.
It delivers meals from Monday to Friday to 11.30am to 1.30pm.
