Feedzai, a San Mateo, Calif-based data science commerce fraud detection company, received a strategic investment from Citi Ventures.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to expand its offerings to commerce and banking systems in new geographies.
Led by Nuno Sebastiao, CEO and co-founder, Feedzai provides banks, payment providers and retailers with a machine learning platform to manage risks associated with banking and shopping, by scanning large amounts of data and recognizing continuously evolving threats as they emerge.
The company also offers user-friendly, omni-channel support to protect consumers on the digital platform.
