Clarity Money Receives Seed Funding Round

clarityClarity Money, a NYC-based personal finance mobile app that acts as an advocate, has launched with a seed funding round of undisclosed amount.

Backers included Bessemer Venture Partners, Soros Capital and Maveron Ventures.

The company, which is currently developing the app, has opened a waiting list here.

Started in April 2016 by Adam Dell, CEO, Hossein Azari, Chief Data Scientist, Mathew Jacobs, VP of Engineering, and Marc Karasu, Chief Marketing Officer, Clarity Money had developed a personal finance app that uses data science and machine learning to negotiate bills, create a savings account, find a lower interest rate credit cards/or personal loan, transfer money between accounts, and deliver actionable insights.
