Blue Medora, a Grand Rapids, MI-based provider of software for enterprise cloud and data center management, closed an $8.6m Series B funding.
The round was led by St. Louis-based Lewis & Clark Ventures with participation from existing investors VMware, Inc., eLab Ventures, Start Garden and Grand Angels.
The company, which has raised $14.5m in total capital since its inception, intends to use the funds to increase customer adoption, channel growth, global presence and technology partnerships.
Led by Nathan Owen, co-founder and CEO, Blue Medora creates software that offers a single view of applications, databases and infrastructure to resolve IT issues, increase uptime and optimize performance. Known for developing extensions for virtualized and application management platforms such as Oracle, IBM, VMware vRealize and New Relic, last month the company launched SelectStar, a SaaS-based solution that unifies databases and cloud infrastructure monitoring.
