Waterline Ventures, a Cambridge, MA-based venture capital firm, has launched its second fund.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, Waterline Ventures II, L.P. has a target of $15m. No funds have been raised, yet.
Led by Managing Director Robert Greenglass, Waterline Ventures, invests in early stage healthcare technology and services companies dedicated to improving the way care is delivered addressing such issues as increasing costs, inconsistent quality, and inadequate access to services.
The firm’s portfolio includes Avizia, Hale, Zipnosis, Wellframe, Madaket, Bright Health, Redbrick Health, Geneva Healthcare, etc.
Investment advisors are vc and healthcare industry veterans such as Bob Higgins, Jack Shields, Bijan Salehizadeh and Ambar Bhattacharyya.
