Skyhigh Networks Raises $40M in Series D Funding

Skyhigh_LogoSkyhigh Networks, a Campbell, Calif.-based cloud security and enablement company, raised $40m in Series D financing.

The round, which brought total funding raised to $105.5m, was led by Thomvest Ventures with participation from Sequoia Capital and Greylock Partners. In conjunction with the financing, Umesh Padval, Venture Partner at Thomvest, joined Skyhigh Networks’s Board of Directors.

The company intends to use the funds to accelerate its go-to-market investments and extend its leadership in the cloud security market with its Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) solution.

Launched in February 2013 by Rajiv Gupta, CEO, Skyhigh Networks is a Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB) that allows enterprises to adopt cloud services, gain visibility, manage threats, ensure compliance and protect corporate data across shadow and sanctioned cloud services while meeting security, compliance, and governance requirements. The company’s solution is used by over 600 enterprises including Aetna, DIRECTV, General Mills, HP, and Western Union.
