Nolan Transportation Group, an Atlanta, GA-based service provider operating in the freight brokerage industry, received a growth equity investment from Ridgemont Equity Partners.
Ridgemont has partnered with NTG’s management team, who will remain the majority shareholders, to support its growth.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Founded in 2005 and led by Kevin Nolan, President and CEO, Nolan Transportation is a freight brokerage providing truckload and less-than-truckload brokerage services, as well as expedited, intermodal, and customized transportation solutions to a variety of end markets.
The company, which utilizes a carrier network of over 40,000 independent transportation companies, has 11 offices nationwide, over 500 employees, and over 5,000 customers across North America.
