Huddlestock Raises $1.5M in Seed Funding

HuddlestockHuddlestock, a London, UK- and Oslo, Norway-based fintech company, raised $1.5m in seed funding.

Backers includes unnamed Norwegian family offices and private investors.

The funding, which is performance based as the backers injected 50% of the funds now, while the rest will be invested within 10 months, if given milestones in terms of a target share price are met, will be used to continue to develop the platform.

Led by Murshid M. Ali, CEO, Nick Gains, CTO, Michel Van Tol, Phd, CIO, and Øyvind Hovland, Chairman, Huddlestock is advancing a patented crowd-trading platform – which is still in beta – that lets users tap into investment ideas and strategies usually available only to professional investment managers.
The startup is a member of Level39 and Innovate Finance,.

The round valued the company at over $13m.
