Northzone, a global venture capital firm, has launched its latest fund.
Northzone VIII (NZVIII), the firm’s biggest fund to date, was oversubscribed, having raised €300m.
Led by Tellef Thorleifsson, Jeppe Zink, Michiel Kotting, Jessica Nilsson, Gareth Jefferies Bjorn Stray, Marta Sjogren, Par Jorgen Parson, and Hans Otterling, the firm has raised eight funds investing in over 120 companies (with over 25 exits) since 1996.
In the last year, Northzone has invested in companies like Zervant, CornerJob, Lesara, Universal Avenue and MarketInvoice having exited Tobii (IPO), and Avito (sale). The portfolio also includes Spotify, Trustpilot, Lesara, and SpaceApe.
The firm has offices in London, NYC, Stockholm and Oslo.
