DevOps Infrastructure Company HashiCorp Raises $24M in Series B Funding

hashicorp-logoHashiCorp, a San Francisco, CA-based DevOps infrastructure company, raised $24m in Series B funding.

The round was led by GGV Capital with participation from Mayfield, True Ventures, and new investor Redpoint.

The company, which has now raised $34m in total, plans to use the funds to accelerate its growth and continue open source and enterprise product development.

Co-founded by Mitchell Hashimoto and Armon Dadgar in 2012, HashiCorp provides a technology platform that aligns development, operations, and security to accelerate application delivery.
The company manages seven open source tools (Vagrant, Packer, Terraform, Serf, Consul, Vault, and Nomad) that span runtime, infrastructure, security management. Enterprise versions of Terraform, Vault, Consul, and Nomad enhance the respective open source tools with enterprise features that promote collaboration, policy-validation, and intelligent automation.

The open source user base includes Stripe, Uber, Twitch, OpenAI, Pinterest, and Capital One, among others.
