Cybersecurity Company SecBI Raises $5M in Series A Funding

secbi-logoSecBI, a Beer Sheva, Israel-based developer of advanced cybersecurity threat detection solutions, closed a $5m Series A funding.

The round was led by by Orange Digital Ventures, Connecticut Innovations, Amichai Shulman and existing investor Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP).

The company intends to use the funds to launch its debut product and increase its marketing and sales presence in North America and Europe.

Co-founded by security veterans Doron Davidson and Alex Vaystikh and led by Gilad Peleg, CEO, SecBI has developed advanced agent-less and appliance-less, software solution that automates threat detection and incident investigation, utilizing proprietary machine learning technology to analyze all network security log data. This allows it to detect advanced and hidden threats, unveil the full scope of an attack, and create a comprehensive incident storyline with autonomous investigation — making mitigation fast and accurate.

The company was founded in 2014 in JVP Cyber Labs in Be’er Sheva.
