SimpliPhi Power, an Ojai, CA-based provider of battery and plug-and-play storage solutions, closed a $2m bridge financing in the run up to a Series A round.
The company, which has since raised over $3.5m, intends to use the funds to expand its California-based manufacturing facility, and its product line including its new plug-and-play Energy Storage System and high-voltage solutions.
Led by CEO Catherine Von Burg, SimpliPhi Power designs and manufactures clean energy storage and management systems created utilizing patented, licensed lithium ferrous phosphate cells with proprietary management boards, circuitry, cell architecture and methods of assembly.
The company’s compact, lightweight form factor does not require ventilation or cooling, is rated for outdoor installation and can operate at a wide temperature range of -4 to 140 degrees F (-20 to 60 C).
SimpliPhi solutions integrate with all industry standard inverter charge controllers and come with a standard 10-year warranty.
