Laundrapp, a London, UK-based provider of on-demand laundry and dry cleaning services, closed a further £5m funding round.
The backers were not disclosed.
The company intends to use the funds to continue to grow its service internationally and expand to a full nationwide UK service in the coming months.
Launched just 18 months ago by Edward Relf, CEO, Antony Pink, and Nick Bransby-Williams, Laundrapp provides on-demand laundry and dry cleaning services to customers starting from £2.
The service, which features free collection and delivery, as well as professional dry cleaning, is now available in over 100 towns and cities across the UK. The app – free on iOS, Android and Amazon devices across both mobile, tablet and desktop – has been downloaded over 200,000 times since launch.
