Mode Raises $1.3M in Seed Funding

modeMode, a San Mateo, CA-based that brings hardware to life with cloud integration, raised an additional $1.3m in funding.

NIifty Corporation, a subsidiary of the Fujitsu group, joined KPCB and Metamorphic Ventures to raise seed total to $2m.

The company will use the funds to continue to develop the platform, add functions and expand operations.

Led by Gaku Ueda, CEO, Mode provides a Hardware as a Service platform for hardware companies to craft cloud services and apps. The IoT solution allows them to connect their products to a comprehensive system that includes data collection, remote access, user management, integration, enterprise systems, etc.
