Menswear Etailer The Idle Man Raises £1.4M in Funding

theidlemanThe Idle Man, a London, UK-­based menswear etailer, raised an additional £1.4m in funding.

The round was led by private equity firm Foresight Group, with participation from angel investor Peter Mullen, founder of Thomas Pink and Chairman of Hunter Boots.

The company, which has raised £3.5m in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to build its own label fashion range, increase its marketing efforts and expand the 20 strong UK head office team.

Founded in 2014 by Oliver Tezcan, former Menswear Buying Manager at Asos.com, The Idle Man offers busy men designer clothes, such as Nudie to Only & Sons, Levi’s, Carhartt, watches and shoes.
The company has FY16/17 forecast sales revenue of £2.4m.
