Enterprise Work-Life Balance Improvement Platform Espresa Raises $2M

espresaEspresa, a Palo Alto, CA-based enterprise platform for improving work-life balance, raised $2m in seed funding.

Backers included Crosslink Capital, Clear Ventures, TEC Ventures and angel investors.

Founded in June 2015 by CEO Alex Shubat, Espresa provides a platform that allows companies of any size to provide workplace services for employees. Employers use Espresa to deliver and manage services such as car repairs, dry cleaning, massage, and wellness classes through a mobile app or web interface.
The platform, which is currently available to 15,000 employees across 25 Bay Area sites ranging from 50 person startups to Fortune 100 companies with over 100,000 employees worldwide, maintains all administrative, financial, messaging, and ordering capabilities in the cloud.

The company will use the funds to expand operations.
