BrandYourself.com, a New York, NY-based online reputation & privacy platform, raised another $2m in funding.
Backers included FF Angel as well as existing investors New Atlantic Ventures and angel investor Barney Pell.
The company, which has raised over $6m to date, intends to use the funds to expand operations.
Started in 2009, BrandYourself.com provides an online reputation management platform featuring tools and services that allows people to identify and fix issues online and to promote the positive things that help their career by using machine-learning, natural language processing and image recognition.
A recently released feature scans a user’s Facebook & Twitter and alerts them of damaging or potentially polarizing information, like swears, slurs, or mentions of alcohol, drugs, politics, religion, etc.
The company has 80 employees.
