Big Data Startup Innovaccer Raises $15.6M in Series A Funding

innovaccerInnovaccer, a Palo Alto, CA-based big data startup, raised $15.6M in Series A funding.

The round was led by Westbridge Capital Partners with participation from other angel investors. In conjunction with the funding, Sumir Chadha, Managing Director of Westbridge, will be joining the board of Innovaccer.

The company, which had previously raised €2.5M to date with prior investors including 500 Startups, Six Sigma Academy and Start Smart Labs, will use the funds to accelerate its presence in the healthcare market.

Co-founded by CEO Abhinav Shashank, CCO Kanav Hasija and CRO Sandeep Gupta, Innovaccer allows large enterprises to bring distributed data assets together on its integrated big data platform (Datashop) and improve data driven decision making processes.
The company is already working with large research and healthcare customers across the world including Catholic Health Initiatives, Partners Healthcare, Sonic Healthsystems, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Wolters Kluwers, Artesyn, among its customers.
