Auth0 Raises $15M in Series B Funding

auth0Auth0, a Bellevue, WA-based universal identity platform, raised $15M in a Series B financing.

The round was led by Trinity Ventures with participation from existing investors Bessemer Venture Partners, K9 Ventures and Silicon Valley Bank. As part of the financing, Trinity general partner, Karan Mehandru, has joined the Auth0 board of directors.

The company intends to use the funds to enhance its identity platform with advanced security features.

Ledd by Jon Gelsey, CEO, Auth0 provides a universal platform for authentication and authorization that allows developers to implement complex identity solutions for their web, mobile and internal applications, APIs and IoT devices.
Auth0 enables developers and IT staff to set up social and enterprise identity provider registration and login, username and password, single-sign-on, multifactor authentication, passwordless authentication.
Subscribers include more than 75,000 companies ranging in size from small startups to large enterprises in more than 175 countries around the world.
