Slice Labs Inc., a NYC-based insurtech startup set to launch an on-demand insurance platform for the on-demand economy, has partnered with Munich Re, a global insurance organization, to deliver on-demand insurance products globally.
The two companies will rollout a program which will see Slice creating a technology platform to deliver products directly to the consumer and processing claims. The platform will include automated underwriting rules agreed upon by Munich Re.
The two companies are currently working together to implement Slice’s first product in the United States.
