Online Venture Investor Maiden Lane to Raise Second Fund

maiden_laneAccording to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, Maiden Lane Ventures, an online venture fund built on AngelList, is to raise its second fund.

The size of Maiden Lane Fund II, which follows a $25m debut fund raised in 2014, was not disclosed. The SEC doc lists co-founder Dustin Dolginow as general partner while Kevin Laws, the co-founder of Maiden Lane, is not named.

The firm is know to leverage the AngelList platform to improve the seed investing workflow and decisions. According to the AngelList web site, San Francisco-based Maiden Lane has invested in 148 startups in partnerhip with other syndicates present on the platform, exiting 6 of them including AllClasses, Authy, Immediately, The Spot, Ticketbis, and Respondly.
