Online Music Festival Platform Festicket Raises $6.3m in Venture Capital

festicketFesticket, a London, United Kingdom-based online platform for music festival, raised $6.3m in venture capital funding.

Backers included Lepe Partners, Wellington Partners, PROfounders, Playfair Capital, and Arthur Kosten, ex-CMO of Booking.com, vente-privee Entertainment (VPE), and Jean-Charles Carré, the business partner and manager of DJ Superstar David Guetta.

The company, which has raised $9.68m to date, intends to use the funds to expand its operational and marketing efforts to grow its live music fan community, supplier base and brand globally.

Led by CEO Zack Sabban and CPO Jonathan Younes, Festicket provides music fans with a service to discover and book tickets and travel packages for music festivals worldwide (including festival tickets, accommodation, travel, and add-ons).
The platform offers a marketplace for 500+ music festivals across 40 different countries, and a network of 1,000 suppliers for accommodation and travel packages. It has a community of 900k+ fans, and 2m unique monthly visitors.

Since launching, the company has served 250,000+ travelers from 120 countries. Originally launched in English, the site is now also available in French and German, and will deploy native-speaking teams and local offices to each market.
