JeChange.fr Receives Minority Investment from Ardian

jechange.frJeChange.fr, an Agen, France-based independent comparison service, received a minority investment from private equity firm Ardian.

The amount of the deal was not disclosed.

The transaction will allow for a restructuring of the company’s capital, with some minority shareholders disposing of part or all of their holdings.

Founded in 2006 by Gaël Duval and led by CEO Philippe Goold, JeChange.fr is a free comparison service for private individuals and businesses to reduce their energy (gas and electricity) and telecom (ADSL and mobile) bills, as well as their insurance, banking and lending products.
In each of these sectors, the site guides consumers, managing the various aspect of the process of changing service provider, cancelling current contracts and signing up to new services.
The company, which achieved turnover of close to €10m in 2015, now has a total of 110 employees.
