Packer Forbes provides a range of services including public relations, medical education, digital, patient advocacy and access communications to blue chip pharmaceutical clients which include Actelion Pharmaceuticals, Gilead Sciences and Novo Nordisk.
Following the deal, Packer Forbes will rebrand as Four Health Communications and will sit within a new international healthcare grouping, Four Health, which also includes Four MSA, the specialist healthcare media planning and buying agency acquired in 2015.
The combinedFour Healthoffer will have some 35 staff and turnover of £17M a year.
Alexa Forbes remains as chief executive of Four Health Communications and will work with Emma Statham (MD, Four MSA) to grow the service.
This acquisition is the fourth since Four secured a £10m investment of equity finance from the BGF (Business Growth Fund), in 2015. Previous deals include MSA Media, Broadgate Mainland and Welsh integrated agency FBA. Further acquisitions are planned for 2016.
Four is an integrated agency offering public relations, public affairs, design, marketing, sponsorship, digital content, media buying services with a particular focus on the property, travel, culture, healthcare, education, financial services, healthcare and public sectors.
With offices in London, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Aberystwyth, Farnborough, Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the company employs more than 250 staff. It has more than 600 clients including Etihad Airways, The Man Booker Prizes, Sotheby’s International Realty, Novo Nordisk and American Express.
