Friendz, a Varese, Italy-based provider of a digital marketing app for consumers to earn by sharing pics by brands on social networks, raised €300k in funding.
Triboo S.p.A made the strategic investment.
The company, which has raised €360k in total funding to date, intends to use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Co-founded in 2015 by Alessandro Cadoni, Daniele Scaglia and Cecilia Nostro, and also led by Andrea Mascheroni, Head of Performance, Friendz provides an Android and iOS app that allows people to earn e-commerce credits by taking action on and sharing brand marketing content on social networks like Facebook and Instagram.
To date, over 250k uploaded pics have received 85m visualizations.
The company currently has a team of 14 people, who have worked with over 20 brands including Timex and Sector managing over 100 campaigns.
