Brandcast Closes $13.9M Series A Financing

Logo_BrandcastBrandcast, a San Francisco, CA-based platform for marketers and designers to create and publish a large volume of websites with speed and control, closed a $13.9m in Series A financing.

The round was led by Shasta Ventures with participation from existing investor Marc Benioff and new investor Correlation Ventures.

To company, which has raised a total of $19.4m, intends to use the funds to accelerate growth in the enterprise sector.

Founded in 2012 by Dan Lynch, CTO, and Hayes Metzger and led by Richard Yanowitch, CEO, Brandcast enables non-technical users to prototype customized websites in minutes/hours and publish them quickly and mobile-ready. The platform has been used by innovative brands like Lowe’s, Colliers, and New York Fashion Week to share stories and deploy their exact designs with no developers.
