Early stage venture capital firm Initialized Capital is raising its third fund.
According to a regulatory form filed with the SEC, the firm is seeking to raise $100m for Initialized III L.P. The document lists Alexis Ohanian (Co-Founder of Reddit) and Garry Tan (previously a partner at Y Combinator) and Alina Libova as people related to the offering. Former partner Harjeet Taggar is not listed in the filing as he is working as founder and CEO at Triplebyte, a YC backed hiring startup that connects engineers with tech companies.
The firm, which will be based in San Francisco (while previous forms listed New York as headquarters), has already managed two funds totalling over $45m in total. Porfolio companies include SendHub, Weave, LeadGenius, Zeus, Two Tap, HelloSign, Make School, Flexport, digit.co, NewHive, ParkWhiz, Her, Parsable, Trusted Insight, Cleanly, LiftIgniter, Blend, Egomotion, and Bellhops.
