Smart Building Control App Comfy Closes $12M Venture Capital Funding

comfyComfy, an Oakland, CA-based provider of software for smart building control, closed $12m funding round.

The round was led by Emergence Capital with participation from CBRE Group and Microsoft Ventures as well as existing investors Claremont Creek Ventures and Westly Group.

The company intends to use the funds to grow its team to add new features and offerings, as well as to expand its international market presence.

Led by Andrew Krioukov, CEO, Comfy provides employees with a smart building software app that delivers on-demand, personalized comfort and productivity in the workplace, based on their patterns and preferences, while reducing the energy wasted on conditioning empty spaces.
Major clients include Johnson Controls and Infosys as well as other large companies.
