MyTaskit, a West Palm Beach, Fla.-based software platform for connecting service professionals to their technicians, subcontractors and customers, raised an additional seed funding round reportedly amounting to $2.5m.
The backers were not disclosed.
The funding raised to date ($11.8m) has accelerated operations growth and the strategic acquisition of two companies.
MyTaskit, which is now planning a Series A round in the second half of 2016, has also added B2B entrepreneur and global leader in entrepreneurship education, Charles Horn, as a new board member.
Horn is the Founder & Chairman of Arizona-based 5Lights and Pro Private Equity Group/PBMS. With Horn’s joining, MyTaskit has formalized a deal with 5Lights to boost marketing management services for strategic growth planning, M&A and executive operational support.
Led by Kevin Hutchinson, Founder and CEO, MyTaskit provides a software platform for connecting service professionals to their technicians, subcontractors and customers. The solution includes a coordination module, which is available for free or as a subscription service with enhanced features, enabling service businesses to coordinate repair and maintenance tasks with technicians, subcontractors and customers, an operations module (formerly DockMaster), which handles backend operations, such as work-order processing, invoicing and accounting.
MyTaskit also provides consumers with a free app to communicate with service technicians, subcontractors, and other interested parties about service, maintenance and repairs, and protect their property.
