Mobile Digital Engagement Platform for Contact Centers CallVU Raises $3M

callvuCallVU, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based developer of mobile digital engagement platforms for contact centers, raised $3m in funding.

The round was led by Liberty Global Ventures, the investment arm of Liberty Global, (NASDAQ: LBTYA), AfterDox Angel Investment Group, 2B Angels and NICE (NASDAQ: NICE). They joined existing investors Explore. Dream. Discover Investment Group, Plus Ventures and 2B Angels.

The company intends to use the funds to expand its global reach and strengthen marketing efforts, opening offices abroad and growing its workforce by adding sales, product management, software development and marketing experts.

Led by Tuval Lava, president and chairman of the board, and Ori Faran, CEO, CallVU has developed an innovative Mobile Digital Engagement Platform which combines rich digital and interactive media with the voice channel to deliver an engaging and collaborative customer experience and create a new customer service channel for smartphone users.
Customers include banks, credit card companies and telecom carriers.
