Fertility App Maker Natural Cycles Raises $6M in Series A Funding

naturalcyclesNatural Cycles, a Stockholm, Sweden-based provider of a fertility app, raised $6m in Series A funding.

Backers included Bonnier Media Growth and existing investors Sunstone and e.ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to grow the team, conduct further clinical studies, and accelerate international adoption in Sweden and abroad.

Led by Elina Berglund, CTO, and Raoul Scherwitzl, CEO, Natural Cycles provides a tested fertility app that uses women’s unique temperature readings to inform her when she has ovulated and when she is likely to ovulate in her next cycle.
Launched in 2014, the app counts more than 100k users in over 160 countries, mainly in Sweden.
