Arevo, a Santa Clara-based developer of technology to enable direct digital additive manufacturing of strong composite parts for end-use applications, raised $7M in Series A funding.
The round was led by Khosla Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, Vijit Sabnis from Khosla Ventures will join Arevo’s Board of Directors.
The company intends to use the funds for near-term product development.
Led by Hemant Bheda, CEO and Founder, Arevo develops technology that consists of advanced composite materials, deposition technology and software algorithms for to OEMs worldwide to optimize mechanical properties of printed parts.
The company recently won the Autodesk REAL Deal Start Up competition.
