Tabtor Math Raises $3.7M in Series A Funding

Tabtor Math, a Kendall Park, NJ- and Bangalore, India-based provider of a platform for students to accelerate their progress in math, raised $3.7M in Series A funding.

The investment was led by Syven Capital with participation from Aarin Capital Partners and Princeton Review founder John Katzman.

The company intends to use the funds to expand and scale Tabtor as a platform offering personalized tutoring supporting multiple subjects and languages globally.

Led by CEO Raj Valli, Tabtor is an iOS and Android tablet-based math tutoring platform for grades K-8, designed to allow students to reach their full potential in math performance leveraging patent-pending Active Replay Technology (ART), which gives tutors and parents the ability to revise a student’s work and watch the steps the student followed to reach their solution, digital-paper technology, automatic grading, video tutorials, mind-mapping abilities and adaptive analytics. A companion smartphone app provides parents with insights on a daily basis.

The solution currently reaches over 60,000 students spanning across 12 countries.
