Sirqul, Inc., a Seattle, WA-based provider of an IoT platform, raised $3m in additional Series A funding.
Miteno USA – the US arm of one of the major cellphone tower manufacturers and operators China – provided the funding which allowed the company to close the round at $9m adding to previous angel investors and Compal Electronics.
The company intends to use the funds to extend sales and marketing reach in the US and bring its IoT solutions to China and other Asian markets.
Led by Robert Frederick, CEO, Sirqul provides a platform which leverages over 60 plus APIs, machine learning algorithms, and existing configurable iOS, Android, and web-based application templates to enable companies to develop and deploy IoT and mobile apps to create new ecosystems focused on engagement and automation.
