Rancher Labs, a Cupertino, CA-based provider of container management software, raised $20M in Series B funding.
The round was led by new investor GRC SinoGreen, with participation from existing investors Mayfield and Nexus Venture Partners.
The company intends to use the funds for sales and marketing initiatives.
Led by Sheng Liang, CEO, Rancher Labs builds open-source software for enterprises leveraging containers to accelerate software development and improve IT operations. With native support for Docker Swarm and Kubernetes orchestration, the company’s flagship platform allows DevOps teams to manage all aspects of running containers in development and production environments.
