Rainmaker Business Technologies Limited, a Dublin, Ireland-based provider of software for airlines to manage operating costs in the areas of crew, network, and performance, received a minority investment from Seabury Human Capital LLC.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Seabury also has an option to purchase a majority stake from Investec Ventures Ireland Limited, which invested in the company in January 2012. In conjunction with the funding, Seabury Human Capital President and Chief Executive Officer Martin R. Kuehne will join the Rainmaker Board of Directors.
Through its investment, SHC will lead the sales and market expansion of Rainmaker’s existing products and services through its global sales, marketing, and distribution channels, as well as its approach to improve operating performance focused on a collaborative process aimed at managing, rewarding, and engaging talent and enhancing effectiveness.
Established in July 2005 and led by Chief Executive Officer Brendan Fuller, Rainmaker Business Technologies works in partnership with airline customers to to allow them to better understand and manage operating performance and related costs and address these problems and improve cost management through such solutions as Crew Performance – Crew Pay and Analytics, Operations Performance and Fuel Performance.
