Front, a San Francisco, CA-based provider of inbox management software, raised $10m in Series A funding.
The round was led by Social Capital, with participation from Stewart Butterfield (CEO, Slack), Eoghan McCabe (CEO, Intercom), and other entrepreneurs.
The company intends to use the funds to increase its hiring, marketing, and product development efforts.
Led by co-founder and CEO Mathilde Collin, Front provides a software application to manage team inboxes to ensure responses are provided by the right person in a timely manner. The app features tools to clearly indicate who should take the next steps, automate actions when conversations meet predetermined conditions, do not forget to answer or follow-up on a conversation, choose the exact time and date when users need to be reminded, spend less time manually responding to common questions, and prevent situations where more than one teammate responds to the same message.
Front is currently used by more than 1000+ companies (including LVMH, Mailchimp, Hubspot, etc.).
