HealthifyMe Raises $6M in Series A Funding

HealthifyMeHealthifyMe, a Bengaluru, India-based mobile health and fitness startup, raised $6m in Series A funding.

The round was led by IDG Ventures India, Inventus Capital and Blume Ventures.

The company intends to use the funds to continue to develop the platform, hire new people and expand operations.

Co-founded in 2012 by Tushar Vashisht, Sachin Shenoy and Mathew Cherian in 2012, HealthifyMe provides an Android and iOS app that allows users to achieve their fitness and weight loss goals by tracking their food, exercises and weight.

The company’s app is used by over 5 million people.
