Grey Jean Technologies, a NYC-based AI-powered personalization company that provides retailers with accurate predictions of consumer behavior, launched with $2m in seed funding.
The round was led by Grey Jean co-founder and president Cosmas Wong with participation from unnamed angel investors.
The company will use the funds to continue to expand operations.
Led by Craig Alberino, CEO, Genie uses artificial intelligence (AI) to allow retail marketers to predict consumer purchase behavior. The solution allows users to target customers and prospects with contextually relevant messages that drive desired actions, improving customer acquisition and sales across all retail channels. The company uses data such as transaction history, demographics, location, time, social media activity, preferences and behavior to predict a consumers’ next product purchase.
Hiro Sake, a hand-crafted premium spirit company, and Namco Pool, a dealer of swimming pools and related products, are among the first users.
