Google (GOOG) is acquiring Synergyse, a Toronto, Canada-based interactive training service for Google Apps for Work.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Launched by former Google employees CEO Varun Malhotra, COO Majid Manzarpour, and CTO Alex Kennberg in 2013, Synergyse Training for Google Apps puts a virtual guide into Google Apps, featuring voice and text interactive modules that are searchable by topic within apps.
To date, it has served more than 4,000,000 people and 3,000 organizations globally.
As part of this acquisition, Google will make the app available for free to all Google Apps customers.
