Junior.Golf, an Austin, TX-based digital platform that gives golf facilities the tools and processes to engage parents and their children, received an investment from Callaway Golf Company (NYSE: ELY), a provider of golf equipment and technology.
The amount of the deal was not disclosed but it is known that Callaway will become the official golf equipment sponsor of Junior.Golf, as well as a minority shareholder.
Led by CEO Jason Black, Junior.Golf provides an online program that gives golf facilities the access to a single platform for managing multiple areas of their business including the player database, programming and content as well as marketing communication. Junior golfers access to a gamified experience that tracks their stats, with parents receiving the latest information on events, clinics and tournaments relevant to their junior golfer.
